You don’t have to travel overseas to enjoy a proper holiday. Sometimes, a few days beside the British seaside are just what you need. A slow morning, an afternoon on the beach and an evening with nowhere you have to be.
At Sand Dunes Chalets, we offer staycation holidays in Bridlington, welcoming guests from across the UK to our little part of the East Yorkshire coast. Our two cosy, self-catering chalets let you make yourself at home and spend your time however you choose.
Leave the everyday routine behind and enjoy a holiday without a packed schedule. You might fancy getting out early to explore Bridlington, spending the day by the sea or simply putting the kettle on and taking things slowly.
Our chalets are at South Shore Holiday Village in Wilsthorpe, around a mile south of Bridlington. It’s a lovely base for exploring the coast, whether this is your first visit or you’re returning to a favourite seaside spot.
Staycation holidays are also a chance to rediscover the simple things. Breakfast together, a walk with the dog and time to sit and chat can all become part of the day.
Self-catering gives you plenty of choice during your stay. Eat out when you fancy it, or pick up a few groceries and cook at the chalet. Each kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, so you can keep mealtimes as easy as you like.
The open-plan lounge gives you somewhere to relax together, with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi for evenings in. Both chalets have two bedrooms, a shower room, heating throughout and beds made ready for your arrival.
Outside, there’s a fenced lawned front garden, with parking next to the chalets. Electricity is supplied through a meter accepting £1 coins.
Each chalet sleeps four, with a double bed and either two single beds or bunk beds. For those planning a holiday together, our adjoining chalets have a connecting door that can be unlocked when both are booked. Dogs are welcome too, so there’s no need to leave your four-legged family member behind.
Whether you’re coming from elsewhere in Yorkshire or making the journey from further afield, we’d love to welcome you to Sand Dunes. To find out more about our staycation holidays or ask about available dates, call 07943 858 885 or email info@sanddunesbridlington.co.uk.
