Planning a UK chalet vacation? Come and make yourself at home at Sand Dunes in Bridlington. Our two cosy chalets offer a welcoming place to stay on the East Yorkshire coast, whether you’re packing for a family holiday, a break with friends or some time away as a couple.
At South Shore Holiday Village in Wilsthorpe, about a mile south of Bridlington, our chalets give you the freedom of self-catering with the seaside nearby.
One of the lovely things about a chalet holiday is having your own space. You’ll have somewhere to sit together over breakfast, pack a lunch, and relax when you return from a day out.
Both of our chalets have an open-plan lounge and fitted kitchen, so whoever’s making tea can still join in the conversation. You’ll find an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, making it easy to eat in whenever you fancy.
A flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi are included too, whether you’re settling down for a film or looking up somewhere to visit the following morning.
Our chalets each sleep up to four guests, with slightly different sleeping arrangements to suit your group.
Chalet 1 has a double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. Chalet 2 has a double bedroom and a second bedroom with bunk beds. We’ll have the beds made and ready for your arrival, so you can unpack and settle in.
Each chalet also includes a shower room with a washbasin and WC, heating throughout and double glazing. Outside, there’s a fenced lawned front garden, with parking next to the chalets.
Electricity is supplied through a coin meter accepting £1 coins, so remember to bring some along.
If your holiday plans include a larger group, you can enquire about booking both chalets. They sit side by side and have a connecting door you can unlock when you’re staying together.
It’s a convenient way to share meals and make plans while still having separate spaces to retreat to at bedtime. Dogs are welcome at Sand Dunes too, so your four-legged companion can join the holiday.
Spend your days exploring the seafront, visiting the harbour or finding a favourite spot on the beach. You might head out for lunch one day and bring something back to cook the next.
